Is Blockfold free?
Yes. Blockfold is free, there is no account to create, and this version has no ads and nothing to buy.
Can I play without internet?
Yes. Blockfold has no online features at all, so it plays the same on a plane, underground or with mobile data off.
How do I play?
Drag one of the three blocks at the bottom onto the board. When a whole row or column is full, it clears. Once all three blocks are placed you get three new ones. The game ends when none of the blocks fits anywhere. Blocks can't be turned.
How does scoring work?
Every square you place is worth 1 point. Clearing 1, 2, 3 or 4 lines at once scores 10, 30, 60 or 100. Clear again within the next three blocks to keep a streak going, which adds 10 points for each step of the streak. Emptying the whole board adds 300.
Is my game saved if I close the app?
Yes. The game in progress is saved after every move, so you can close Blockfold or switch apps and carry on later. Your best score and statistics are kept too.
Which phones and languages does it support?
Android 8.0 or newer, phones and tablets. The game is in English, French, Hindi, Vietnamese, Turkish and Korean.
